The Philosophy

Systems Training Philosophy

At Avotek, we believe that the best way to train students is to let them see the whole system including all of the interactions between the various components. We design our systems to graphically show the flows (signal, hydraulic, fluid, electrical, etc.) between components. This is the same philosophy used by the major airlines, the large aircraft manufacturers and the US military; however, Avotek trainers go one step beyond what has traditionally been done. Avotek trainers use actual aircraft components in a fully functioning system rather than two-dimensional visual simulations. This combines the best of both worlds - a complete functioning system laid out in an easy to understand format.

New vs. Reconditioned

Our material is offered for training students in aviation maintenance technician schools. For that reason, instructional value is the basic criteria in selecting and designing our products. The products, parts and components in this catalog are not represented to be airworthy. While most of our trainers are fully functional, others are not. Unless specifically stated, items are designed for static or teardown purposes. Some systems and trainers are constructed of refurbished components.

Where photographs are used they are meant to show a typical unit. Some items may vary from that shown in the photographs
